Dr Tania Trapolini is a warm, compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist who always works in partnership with her clients to better understand and process issues which may be causing difficulties.

While she enjoys working with adults at every stage of life, she has particular expertise in perinatal mental health and is passionate about supporting individuals and their families in navigating their unique journeys into parenthood, from trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth and beyond. Tania has worked in a variety of public and private-sector roleswhich have focussed on enhancing parent-infant relationships, including research and clinical work in Postnatal Depression and Mental Health Teams, leading IVF Clinics, and her current role as a Supervisor for the Gidget Foundation.

Alongside her specialist interest Tania has extensive experience in providing effective treatment to a number of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, trauma-related difficulties, grief and loss, interpersonal and relationship problems, self-esteem concerns, and adjustment to major life events. She is also trained in EMDR and adopts a compassionate flexible approach to her clinical work and remains an Honorary Associate at Macquarie University’s Psychology Department.
