Trisha is the founder of Sydney Women’s Physiotherapy and has over 22 years of clinical experience. Trisha is committed to leading her team in providing the highest quality of care to empower each individual patient to achieve their goals with sensitivity, understanding and respect.
Early in her physiotherapy career, she gained a firm foundation in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Her most rewarding and challenging role was working as a civilian physiotherapist within the British Army, where she gained a strong interest in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions. This grounded her skills in biomechanics of the human body.
Working opportunities within the hospital system allowed exposure for Trisha within Ante-Natal Care, Maternity Wards and Pelvic Floor Outpatient Clinics amongst other areas both in Australia and the UK. She has also completed extensive post graduate training within the areas of Women’s Health, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (women/men/children) and Pain Science.
Trisha takes a holistic and integrated approach to assessment and treatment, with her expertise in both external and internal pelvic assessments playing a key role in achieving successful patient outcomes. Recognising the importance of a systematic approach to exercise prescription in physiotherapy, Trisha incorporates Pilates and functional training exercises into her treatment plans to support long-term recovery and performance.
Trisha is particularly passionate about treating Men’s and Children’s pelvic health conditions as well as working with individuals of any gender with complex pelvic pain conditions. She also loves to work with Women through the perimenopausal and menopausal stages of their lives to manage pelvic floor concerns.
Trisha is a wife and mother of three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys connecting with her friends through food and Karaoke and exercise training in the backyard with her kids and sports mad husband.
