NDIS

We support NDIS patients

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a government initiative that provides funding to eligible people with a disability. Physiotherapy is supported by the NDIS and our team of physiotherapists are able to provide comprehensive services to those eligible. Currently, we only take on plan and self-managed patients.

What concerns do we treat?

At Pelvic Connections, we have a special interest in pelvic health while also continuing to treat general physiotherapy conditions such as the neck, thoracic, back, hips, upper and lower limbs.

Many of our patients with lifelong disabilities such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Disease and Spinal Cord Injuries, who may have pelvic health concerns (sexual, continence, pelvic pain), may be eligible for funding packages to help them improve their pelvic and mobility function.

What can I expect at my initial physiotherapy appointment as an NDIS patient?

Your physiotherapist will provide you with a detailed initial assessment. With the findings of the assessment, a service agreement will be created between the therapist and the patient. Your subsequent treatment will involve treatment relevant to your goals.

How do I book an appointment with one of your physiotherapists as an NDIS patient?

To start your physiotherapy journey at Pelvic Connections, you can book in to see our team via the following ways:
