Neck Pain, a common complaint
Neck Pain is a common complaint among our patients due to the amount of sitting and screen time people are completing at work, school or home. Neck pain can also be linked to a “poke neck” and rounded shoulder posture which may result in tightness of the neck muscles and an increased load on the cervical spine.
What are common neck conditions?
- Acute and chronic neck pain
 - Muscular dysfunction
 - Cervicogenic headaches
 - Nerve pain
 - Disc bulges
 - Arthritis or other degenerative concerns
 - Osteoporosis
 
What are some symptoms associated with neck pain?
- Reduced motion of the neck or stiffness
 - A sensation of “tightness” around the neck/upper shoulders
 - Headaches
 - Upper limb pain, numbness, pins and needles or weakness
 - Dizziness
