What is good bladder health?

The bladder is designed to store urine, and keep you dry and comfortable. However, when it causes you pain or urinary leakage during the day or urinary frequency at night it can be very frustrating and affect your quality of life.

They will provide you with bladder retraining to improve bladder capacity, correct urination and defecation techniques, advice regarding appropriate fluid intake, management of any bowel-related concerns that may affect the bladder, pelvic floor muscle training, strengthening of any weaknesses present in the body, and prescription of a TENS machine for tibial nerve stimulation to assist with management of an overactive bladder.
